Gonzalez - Silver Metal in Obstacle Course. The Knighthawks did not do well in this tournament, We were overmatched by the Quest Select team, we were not overmatched by the Quest Select when it came to FIGHTING!!!!!. We beat the HELL out of them in that category with Kevin Seid, DJ Lawrence and Nick Spaloss OUR version of the Hanson Brothers leading the way. We did make a gallant effort in coming back from 3 goals in the final period to tie the game against the Brooklyn Kings only to lose the game. Jon Gonzalez - 3 goals 3 assists 2 penalties
The Knighthawks went to Sewell to play in Cougarmania 4.3. This would see OUR first tournament team in U17 along with our U14 team.

Knighthawks first game as a U17 team was against the Cougars. Tony Gugliemetti
scored the only goal for the Knighthawks. James Donofrio added a assists. We let
up 3 shorthanded goals in this game that hurt us. Leading Goal Scorers: Tony Gugliemetti 4 goals, Jeremy Rumeld 3 goals, DJ Lawrence 1 goal.

U17 Team participated in the Torhs Regional Tournament held at Goodsports, They played in the 20 and under bracket and finished 2nd. They are invited to the National Championship held in July in Rochester NY. Vic

Team Roster James Donofrio The Knighthawks invaded Columbus Ohio, for the NHL Breakout National Championship. We had a GREAT time, If we could have only played better who knows. We would like to thank Lorraine Russell for taking the time and finding us a great hotel. it was good that it had the miniature golf and go cart rides in the back, it kept the kids busy and not running around the hotel. well except for the ketchup thing. We do have one sad note, Walter Russell lost his cell phone on the track at the go carts, it was ROADKILL, it seems that every player on the Knighthawks could hit that little cell phone but could not hit the larger net during the games. Cougarmania 4.1 James Donofrio Knighthawks win all their games and take home the GOLD metal beating the hometown favorite Cougars.
Echo Tournament James Donofrio Knighthawks make it the Semi-finals before losing, We do qualify for their National Championship which will be held in Atlanta Ga. in June. Cougarmania 4.2 James Donofrio Knighthawks get to the finals but lose to the Mavericks and get the SILVER metal. Hockey Rules Tournament James Donofrio Knighthawks don't play well in this tournament and lose to some tough competition.
